Dieter Schützhoff

Dieter Schützhoff studied with Marcal Cervera at the Musikhochschule Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany). After his degree in pedagogy, he completed his studies in 1990 with the Künstlerische Reifeprüfung. A scholarship to the National Music Camp Interlochen (USA) secured him a place in the World Youth Symphony Orchestra. For many years he was a guest in the ensemble of the Wolfgang Marschner Festival in Hinterzarten (Germany) and the Pyrmonter Telemann Ensemble, and he taught chamber music at the PflügerStiftung Freiburg. Dieter Schützhoff has received numerous first prizes as soloist and chamber musician and has participated in several TV, radio and CD productions. He is a member of the Scalda-Ensemble and has been a permanent member of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra as a cellist since 1992.
