Known as a ‘symphony with soloist’, this Romantic masterpiece gives equal prominence to piano and orchestra. Sanderling, a seasoned Brahms interpreter, brings his expertise to the Queen Elisabeth Hall, while acclaimed American pianist Garrick Ohlsson takes on the challenging solo part. A master of Romantic repertoire, Ohlsson ensures this performance will be nothing short of extraordinary. Korean top talent Jae Hong Park joins us at the piano.
