Graziano Moretto was born in Milan and graduated as a bassoonist from the Verdi Conservatory in his hometown. The following year, he perfected his skills at the Munich Musikhochschule. He was a member of the Bamberger Symphoniker, the Bayerisches Staatsorchester, the Münchener Philharmoniker, the Festival Orchestra of Schleswig-Holstein and the Orchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks. He has worked under renowned conductors such as Colin Davis, Sergiu Celibidache, Lorin Maazel, Georg Solti and Christoph Eschenbach. Since 1992 he has been associated with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra as a bassoon soloist.
