Nana Hiraide

Nana Hiraide was born in Japan and started playing the violin at the age of three. After studying at the Toho Music University in Tokyo, she continued her violin training at the Musikhochschule in Saarbrücken, Germany. Here she obtained the Konzertreife Diplom and Soloist Diplom with great distinction. She studied with Hideki Oguni, Tomotada Soh, Toshiya Eto, Valery Klimov and Herman Krebbers. As a soloist and chambriste, she made radio recordings for the Saarlandischer Rundfunk and Deutschland Radio Berlin. Nana Hiraide was as a soloist and in numerous chamber music ensembles a guest at music festivals in Germany, Finland, France and Morocco. She has been a violinist at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra since 2002.
