Frédéric Van Hille

Frédéric Van Hille studied violin at the conservatories of Ghent and Brussels. Afterwards, he specialized with renowned violinists such as Arthur Grumiaux and Joshua Epstein. He taught violin at the music academies of Eeklo and Menen until 1987, when he became solo second violin at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. He also taught violin at the music academy of Malle. He was part of several ensembles and founded a string quartet under the name Esterhazy. He performs on a regular basis with pianist Dirk Herten and regularly collaborates with the art society Rauw (Brecht).
