Kristine Opolais is one of the leading sopranos on the international stage today, with a firmly established reputation, combining a lustrous tone and intense dramatic power. Opolais performs with regularity in the world's leading venues, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Wiener Staatsoper, the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Teatro alla Scala, the Opernhaus Zürich and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. She has worked with conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Mark Elder, Daniel Harding, Andris Nelsons, Fabio Luisi, Kirill Petrenko and Semyon Bychkov.
