Tobias Knobloch studied bassoon and contrabassoon at the Musikhochschule in Cologne and obtained his orchestra diploma there. He was associated with the philharmonic orchestras of Gelsenkirchen, Lübeck and Karlsruhe. His collaborations included recordings and chamber music concerts with I Solisti del Vento and Arco Baleno. Since 1996 he has been soloist contrabassoon and second soloist bassoon at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
