Lilyana Popdimitrova

Lilyana Popdimitrova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1997. She completed her bachelor's degree at New Bulgarian University with Professor Mario Hossen.

Her passion for orchestral performance led her to participate in various youth orchestras such as, Sofia Youth Philharmonic, Bulgarian National Youth Orchestra "Pioneer," European Music Campus Orchestra, Sistema Europe Youth Orchestra, and between 2017 and 2020 she joined the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra going on tour all around the world.

Lilyana has worked professionally with the Bulgarian National Radio Symphony Orchestra, New Symphony Orchestra, and Classic FM Orchestra, among others.

In 2019, Lilyana successfully won the position of first violin in Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, where she worked until 2022 when she made the decision to relocate to Amsterdam.
