Elaine Ng

Elaine Ng received her bachelor's degree at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and her master's degree at Mannes College - The New School for Music in New York City, with mentors such as Hong-Ying Ho, Hiroko Yajima, and Chu-Tung Lo. She has been invited to major festivals, including the New York String Orchestra Seminar at Carnegie Hall, Kent Blossom Music Festival with the Cleveland Orchestra, St. Lawrence String Quartet Chamber Music Seminar at Stanford University, and the School for Music and Arts at the Fontainebleau Chamber Music Festival in Paris. Elaine is also very active as a chamber musician. Elaine's ensembles received intensive chamber music training in collaboration with members of the Miami, Guarneri, Orion, Juilliard, Fine Arts, Szymanowski, Endellion, Ébène, Ysaye and Berlin Philharmonic string quartets, among others. During her education, Elaine was also first violinist of the UMKC Conservatory Graduate Fellowship String Quartet for many years. In 2020, she was accepted to the Queen Elizabeth Music Chapel as an artist in residence in the class of Miguel da Silva.
