Claire Lechien studied violin and chamber music at the Conservatorium Brussel. She then specialized at the Royal College of Music in London and at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel (with Veronique Bogaerts). She played in several Belgian orchestras and collaborated with numerous chamber music ensembles. She has been a permanent member of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra as first violinist since 2009.
