Benjamin Pope is proud to be associated with CineConcerts, as a highly experienced conductor of live film screenings in concert with a large repertoire of titles performed in concert halls and large-scale arenas throughout the world, including the Harry Potter in Concert Series, as well as having conducted in the silent movie genre including Chaplin.

A graduate of Oxford University and The Royal College of Music in London, Benjamin has conducted orchestras worldwide including the Royal Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic and Hallé Orchestras, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic & Scottish Chamber Orchestras, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Munich Symphony, Orchestras of RTÉ (Ireland), ERT (Greece) and BBC (UK), Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Orchestra of the 21st Century, Czech National Symphony, as well as many other orchestras and choirs in the USA, Europe, Japan, Turkey, South Korea, South America, Australia.  He has toured to Jamaica, Africa and the Gulf States with the Royal Philharmonic, and worldwide with The Royal Ballet and Tokyo Ballet. 

A critically-acclaimed conductor for dance, Benjamin was named Music Consultant to Hong Kong Ballet in 2016, Music Director of the Royal Ballet of Flanders in 2011, and has received return invitations to work with world leading ballet and companies.

His work as a composer, arranger and vocalist encompasses work for concert, stage, radio, and screen, including scores for feature film and television, full length ballets for Hong Kong and Dutch National Ballet Companies and several one act works. 

Benjamin is committed to music education as Musical Director of The Classical Road Show (UK) and principal conductor for RPO Resound, the Royal Philharmonic’s education concerts, and recently establishing a strong connection as conductor and arranger with the Antigua and Barbuda Youth Symphony.
