Jan Söderblom

The Finnish musician Jan Söderblom enjoys a versatile career as a conductor, violinist, and artistic director. Currently the artistic director of the Finnish Chamber Orchestra and several festivals, he also served as the long-standing first concertmaster of the Helsinki Philharmonic, where he pioneered a "conductorless" approach to leading large-scale symphonic repertoire. Having trained at the prestigious Sibelius Academy, he has built a diverse international career in both opera and concert performance, driven by an artistic vision that uniquely bridges the gap between history, culture, and the natural world.
