Patrick Grahl
Leipzig-born tenor Patrick Grahl established his musical foundations as a member of the renowned Thomanerchor before graduating with distinction from the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University. Since winning first prize at the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition in 2016, he has become a highly sought-after concert and opera singer. He has collaborated with leading conductors such as Sir John Eliot Gardiner, Zubin Mehta, and Sir Simon Rattle, performing at major venues like Teatro La Fenice and with orchestras including the London Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to his operatic roles in works by Mozart and Beethoven, Grahl is deeply committed to oratorio and lieder. His versatility is further evidenced by an extensive discography, including the ambitious 'Vision Bach' project and acclaimed song recordings such as Dichterliebe and Das ferne Lied.
