Film concert: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

J.R.R. Tolkien’s imagination became world-famous thanks to Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The saga about ‘one ring to rule them all’ soon acquired cult status. Fans of the fantasy genre know all there is to know about Frodo, Gandalf, Gollem and Aragorn. The music of the first part The Fellowship of the Ring won an Oscar. This season you can hear it live in the Queen Elisabeth Hall while an army of noble elves, fiercely loyal dwarves, strong men and very smart hobbits wage battle against Sauron’s army of evil orcs on the big screen.
