Inés García Pinilla

Inés García Pinilla started playing the double bass at the age of 7 in her hometown, Alcalá de Henares (Spain). Only two years later she started playing in youth orchestras and has continued to do so throughout her formative years, even playing with the National Youth Orchestra of Spain. She continued her bachelor's degree in Madrid with teachers such as Karen Martirossian or Guillermo Sánchez (co-principal double bass of National Orchestra of Spain). In 2023 she finished her master's degree in Rotterdam with Luis Cabrera (principal double bass of Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra).

During this time she has received a large number of MasterClasses from renowned international teachers such as Rinat Ibragimov, Franco Petracci, Pierre Emmanuel de Maistre and Héctor Sapiña, receiving great praises from all of them.

She has also collaborated with several professional orchestras such as the Valencia Symphony Orchestra. With these orchestras, has had the opportunity to play in prestigious venues such as the Auditorio Nacional de España in Madrid, De Doelen in Rotterdam and the Palau de Les Arts in Valencia.
