German soprano Anja Kampe has established herself as one of the most distinguished singers of her generation. Trained in Dresden and Turin, she first rose to prominence in Mozart, Verdi, and Rossini roles at prestigious venues such as La Scala, the Glyndebourne Festival, and the New Israeli Opera.

A prize-winner at numerous international competitions, she has since become a celebrated interpreter of the German repertoire. Following acclaimed debuts at Bayreuth and milestone performances as Sieglinde in Die Walküre alongside Plácido Domingo and Senta in Der Fliegende Holländer, she now graces the world's leading stages from Munich to Washington. She remains a frequent and welcome guest at La Monnaie in Brussels and Flanders Opera.
