The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment (OAE) focuses primarily on the Baroque and Classical periods, led by a distinguished group of principal artists including Sir Simon Rattle and András Schiff. Based at London’s Southbank Centre and closely associated with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, the ensemble is renowned for its extensive discography, international tours, and impactful education programmes. The OAE is a regular guest at Het Concertgebouw, where it has established a notable tradition of performing Bach’s Passions under the direction of conductors such as Mark Padmore.
