Born in Buenos Aires, Argentine bass Nahuel Di Pierro trained at the Artistic Institute of the Teatro Colón before further developing his artistry at the Paris Opera Studio and the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project. He is internationally acclaimed as one of the most versatile singers of his generation, with a repertoire ranging from Baroque masters such as Rameau and Charpentier to the major roles of Mozart and the bel canto of Rossini. A celebrated interpreter of roles including Don Giovanni, Leporello, Figaro, and Osmin, he is a regular guest at prestigious venues such as the Paris Opera, London’s Royal Opera House, and Zurich Opera House.

Beyond the opera stage, Di Pierro is a highly sought-after concert and recitalist, collaborating with leading conductors like Riccardo Muti, Sir Simon Rattle, and Emmanuelle Haïm. His 2025/26 season highlights include a return to Zurich for Rossini’s La scala di seta and performing Mustafà in L'italiana in Algeri in Geneva. With an extensive discography and frequent appearances at festivals such as Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg, he remains a prominent figure in the contemporary classical world.
