Gala evening with Pretty Yende
During our annual gala, we will be welcoming Pretty Yende to the Elisabeth Hall. The phenomenally talented South African soprano has taken the opera world by storm, starring in leading roles at Milan’s Teatro alla Scala and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. During King Charles' coronation, she performed in front of the whole world at Westminster Abbey, and now she is coming to Queen Elisabeth Hall. Together with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and conductor Lorenzo Passerini, she will perform a generous selection from the Italian operatic repertoire, by such greats as Rossini, Verdi and Puccini. Fascinating heroines like Violetta, Rosina, and Countess Almaviva will shine brightly in the sparkling acoustics of the golden Elisabeth Hall during a gala evening brimming with glamour and passion.
