Europalia will also be celebrated in the Queen Elisabeth Hall, with one of the biggest concerts of this biennial arts festival! In recent years, the Tbilisi Symphony Orchestra has developed into one of the region’s most important orchestras. The orchestra’s conductor, the composer Vakhtang Kakhidze, composed a monumental Requiem for a choir, a full orchestra, a male sextet and a female quarter. Experience the Caucasian colouristic effects and poignant character of this extremely moving Requiem. A unique experience that is sure to be enhanced even more by the superb acoustics of the Queen Elisabeth Hall!
