KID concert: Hector

It could happen to anyone – you wake up fine one day and the next there’s a young girl living inside your head. Indeed, it happened to Hector Berlioz some two hundred years ago, and he described the experience in his Symphonie fantastique. Actor Bert Verbeke takes on the role of the young French composer and joins the orchestra in telling the tale of how a masterpiece is born. Berlioz’ beloved muse, his ancient organ teacher, and his stubborn father also feature in this engaging KIDconcert.
