Joris Van den Brande (1981) is a versatile Belgian actor, writer, and theatre-maker who has built an impressive career since graduating from the RITS in Brussels. As a core member of the LAZARUS collective, he has written and performed in numerous acclaimed productions, including Dostoevsky adaptations and the satirical show Orde van de Dag. Furthermore, he is a frequent guest at companies such as BRONKS and hetpaleis, where his work has been selected for the TheatreFestival on several occasions.

In addition to his theatre work, Van den Brande is active in television with roles in series such as De Ridder and Over Water. He also shares his expertise beyond traditional drama, for instance by writing and performing over ten KIDconcerts for the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra. With upcoming projects like the anniversary production LAZARUS for beginners, he remains a key figure in the Flemish cultural landscape, constantly combining text-based theatre, family shows, and music.
