After years of restoration, all the pipes and bellows of the titanic Schyven organ of Antwerp Cathedral will finally be fully restored in 2017. Master organist Peter Van de Velde pulls out all the stops and breathes new life into our country's largest nineteenth-century instrument to the tones of Robert Groslot's festive Organ Concerto. Conductor Karel Deseure adds the most famous, most imaginative organ symphony in concert literature. With these spectacular sounds in your head, summer can really begin.
