Does today’s classical music sound like a foreign language? With the right context, it becomes a colourful adventure.

During the workshop (in Dutch) series ‘De muziek van morgen’, musicologist Jasper Gheysen takes plenty of time to unravel that story step by step. A few days before (or on the day of) the concert, we delve deeply into one specific work. We listen to excerpts, discover sources of inspiration and understand the artistic choices the composer has made. This way, you’ll enter the concert hall afterwards with a fresh perspective and a trained ear.
