Lin Mu
Lin Mu was born in 1990 in China. He studied violin at Xihua University with Aiko Mizushima, former first violinist at the Bayerischen Rundfunk Orchester. He then joined the Sichuan Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, as principal of first violins.
Mu took masterclasses with violinists such as Almita Vamos, Lu Wei, Shikata Kyoto, Mizushima Aiko, Massaki Tanokura, Prof. Bernhard Hartog, Volkhard Steude and Anton Barakhovsky. In 2021, he placed second at the International Moscow Music Competition.
Lin Mu has been deputy concertmaster with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra since 2025.
