Canadian pianist Bruce Liu gained international acclaim after winning first prize at the 2021 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, one of the most prestigious piano competitions in the world. Praised for his technique, broad musical imagination, and expressive playing, he regularly performs as a soloist with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Wiener Symphoniker.

He will also treat the Antwerp audience to two concerts in the 2026-2027 season: in March with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jaap van Zweden, and in April with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and Ryan Bancroft.
