Jan Lisiecki

piano

At 28, Canadian pianist Jan Lisiecki is celebrated worldwide for a musical maturity and technique that defy his years. Performing over a hundred concerts annually at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Elbphilharmonie, he collaborates closely with leading conductors like Antonio Pappano and Yannick Nézet-Séguin. In addition to his prolific solo career with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra, he frequently performs lieder cycles with baritone Matthias Goerne, including acclaimed appearances at the Salzburg Festival.

An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist since the age of fifteen, Lisiecki’s recordings consistently top the classical charts and have earned prestigious accolades, including the ECHO Klassik and the Diapason d’Or. His discography features landmark releases such as Chopin's complete nocturnes and a live recording of Beethoven’s five piano concertos, which he led from the keyboard. Beyond the concert hall, the former Leonard Bernstein Award winner has served as a UNICEF Ambassador to Canada since 2012.
