No New Year’s celebration is complete without a concert. If you’re looking to start 2023 in style, the Antwerp Symphony has a treat in store for you! Belgian clarinettist Annelien van Wauwe kicks off the year on a festive note with Weber’s warm and romantic Concertino whereas Bassi’s spectacular variations on motives from Rigoletto will be like fireworks to your ears. The rest of the programme has a distinctly Italian feel to it, after which the annual selection of Viennese waltzes will have you whirling through the Austrian capital.
