Wagner on a Sunday morning? Absolutely. Start your Sunday with the ethereal shimmer of the Lohengrin Prelude before the orchestra swells to its full, majestic glory. Chief conductor Marc Albrecht leads the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra in his personal highlights from Wagner’s operatic masterpieces. The programme features the legendary Liebestod, a profound pinnacle of musical history depicting Isolde’s final, passionate lament.

Welcome your Sunday morning with movement and music. Awaken your body and mind with a musical yoga session accompanied by percussion. Afterwards, there will be time to enjoy breakfast before making your way down to the concert hall.

 This concert begins with a Jonge Impuls (Young Impulse): a brand-new work by an up-and-coming composer. In this new series, young talents under the mentorship of Annelies Van Parys are commissioned to write a short piece for the orchestra.
