Chief conductor Marc Albrecht leads the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra in his personal highlights from Wagner’s operatic masterpieces. The programme features the legendary Liebestod, a profound pinnacle of musical history depicting Isolde’s final, passionate lament.

 This concert begins with a Jonge Impuls (Young Impulse): a brand-new work by an up-and-coming composer. In this new series, young talents under the mentorship of Annelies Van Parys are commissioned to write a short piece for the orchestra.
