Emmanuel Tjeknavorian

Born in Vienna into a distinguished musical family, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian began his violin journey at the age of five. He honed his exceptional talent at the University of Music and Performing Arts in his hometown, studying under the tutelage of Gerhard Schulz of the renowned Alban Berg Quartett. Tjeknavorian made a name for himself on the global stage by securing prestigious prizes at both the Johannes Brahms and Fritz Kreisler International Competitions. His international breakthrough was firmly established at the 2015 Sibelius Competition in Helsinki, where he was awarded second prize and received a special accolade for his technically brilliant and profound interpretation of the Sibelius Violin Concerto.
