No fairy tale is as cut from the right cloth as that of Pinocchio. Nico Sturm crawls into the bark of the boy who learns that the straight path has many side roads. The unadulterated Italian sparkling music of Gioacchino Rossini provides a melodramma giocoso e scintillante con gusto e molto brio. Our nose off if it isn't true!
