At the Concertgebouw with Stella Chen
The Antwerp Symphony Orchestra maintains a cherished tradition with a performance at the prestigious Concertgebouw Amsterdam this summer, led by new chief conductor Marc Albrecht. The programme features César Franck’s symphonic poem Le chasseur maudit, which depicts a blasphemous count doomed to ride through the night. In contrast, Antonín Dvořák’s Violin Concerto is deeply rooted in the musical traditions of his Bohemian homeland. The fervent violin solo will be performed by Stella Chen, winner of the 2019 Queen Elisabeth Competition. She will also bring this concerto to audiences in Antwerp during Elisabeth Week in January 2027.
