Beatrice Rana
Italian pianist Beatrice Rana has become a mainstay on the world’s most renowned stages, from the Berlin Philharmonie and the Concertgebouw to Carnegie Hall and Teatro alla Scala. She is celebrated for her collaborations with world-class conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin and Klaus Mäkelä, and is a regular guest with top-tier orchestras including the New York Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. In the 2024/25 season, she further strengthens her international standing as artist-in-residence at Radio France, performing with both the Orchestre National de France and the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
Rana’s exceptional talent was recognised early on with first prize at the Montreal International Competition and the silver medal at the prestigious Van Cliburn Competition. As an exclusive Warner Classics artist, she has released six critically acclaimed albums, earning awards such as Gramophone’s ‘Young Artist of the Year’ and a Classic BRIT Award. Born into a family of musicians, she completed her studies under the guidance of Benedetto Lupo and Arie Vardi, laying the foundation for her career as one of the most refined and versatile pianists of our time.
