Günther Lesage
Günther Lesage (1966) is an established figure in the Belgian acting world, known as a co-founder of influential collectives such as de Onderneming and LAZARUS. Since graduating from Studio Herman Teirlinck, he has built an impressive theatrical repertoire, with a particular focus on Dostoevsky adaptations and socially critical productions like Orde van de Dag. Alongside his ensemble work, he successfully tours with solo performances, including the acclaimed Vroeger was de toekomst beter.
His artistic reach extends far beyond the stage; Lesage is a highly sought-after actor for film and television. He has appeared in iconic productions such as Terug naar Oosterdonk, Bevergem, Eigen Kweek, and Wat Als?. Driven by an unceasing passion for innovation, he remains a leading force within the ARSENAAL/LAZARUS collective, where he is currently working on anniversary projects and new collaborations that bridge the gap between established traditions and emerging theatrical talent.
